Amantani – Taquile – Puno
Breakfast with the family and boat trip to Taquile. Walk along island paths and plazas, learn about textile traditions and have lunch before returning to Puno.

The Amantani viewpoint walk and Taquile steps may feel demanding at altitude. Walk slowly, stay hydrated and ask before photographing people or family spaces.
The accommodation is simple and belongs to a local family. Bathroom facilities, hot water and electricity may be basic.
Host families are assigned through the community organization.
Walks are optional and take place at high altitude.
Activities may change due to weather or navigation.
Bring a daypack and leave your main luggage in Puno.
