These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Un Tripcito website and bookings for tours, activities, transfers, packages and other travel services offered or coordinated by us.
1. Identification and acceptance
The website is operated under the Un Tripcito brand. Contact us at travel@untripcito.com or via WhatsApp at +51 977 844 694.
By using the website or confirming a booking, you declare that you have read and accepted these terms and the specific conditions of the service. If you book for other people, you confirm that you are authorised to provide their information and accept the conditions on their behalf.
2. Services and scope
Un Tripcito offers and coordinates travel experiences provided by us and specialised suppliers. Each service page or quotation indicates, as applicable, the itinerary, duration, language, meeting point, inclusions, exclusions, requirements, price and change or cancellation policy.
Photographs, travel times and itineraries are illustrative where they depend on weather, traffic, capacity, authority decisions, route conditions or other reasonable operational factors.
3. Quotations and bookings
- An enquiry or quotation does not hold spaces or guarantee the price until the booking is confirmed.
- Availability may change while payment is pending.
- You must provide true, complete and up-to-date information for all travellers.
- We may reject or cancel requests involving obvious pricing errors, suspected fraud, lack of availability or failure to meet requirements. We will notify you and refund any applicable amounts.
4. Prices, currency and payments
Prices are displayed in the currency stated on the service page or quotation. Before payment, we will tell you the applicable amount and what is included. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion, fees or taxes outside Un Tripcito’s control.
Payments may be processed through external platforms such as WeTravel. The payment provider’s terms and policies also apply. Un Tripcito does not store your full card details.
5. Confirmation and documentation
Your booking is confirmed when you receive written confirmation or a receipt identifying the service. You are responsible for promptly checking names, dates, times, meeting points and inclusions and reporting any error.
You must carry valid documents and comply with immigration, health, age, fitness, luggage and entry requirements. Unless expressly stated, visas, vaccinations, insurance, permits and personal documents are not included.
6. Traveller responsibilities
The traveller agrees to:
- Arrive on time and follow the reasonable instructions of the guide or operator.
- Before booking, disclose accessibility needs, relevant medical conditions, allergies or restrictions that could affect safety or delivery of the service.
- Respect communities, other travellers, cultural heritage, wildlife and the environment.
- Not participate while impaired in a way that compromises safety or engage in illegal or dangerous conduct.
- Look after personal belongings and obtain suitable travel insurance where recommended or required.
A material omission may prevent participation where there is a genuine risk to the traveller or group, without affecting rights granted by law.
7. Changes requested by the traveller
Change requests are subject to availability, deadlines and supplier charges. We will explain any fare difference or expense before processing a change. A change is valid only after written confirmation.
Traveller substitutions may be limited by named tickets, admission tickets, permits or third-party policies.
8. Cancellations and refunds
The specific policy shown on the service page, quotation or booking confirmation determines deadlines, penalties and refundable amounts. Some components may be non-refundable once issued, including named tickets, admission tickets, permits or promotional fares, where disclosed in advance.
To cancel, contact us through our support channels and identify your booking. The effective date is the date we receive your request. Approved refunds will be returned through the available payment method and may take time depending on the payment platform or financial institution.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.
9. Operational, weather or safety changes
We may make reasonable adjustments to times, routes, transport, guides or activities to protect safety or respond to closures, weather, social unrest, authority decisions, force majeure or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
If a change substantially affects the service before it begins, we will explain the available alternatives—rescheduling, an equivalent service, credit or the applicable refund—taking account of the law and recoverable supplier costs. If an activity must be interrupted for safety reasons, each case will be assessed according to the services delivered and recoverable amounts.
10. External suppliers
Parts of the trip may be delivered by hotels, transport companies, guides, operators, restaurants, insurers, payment platforms or other third parties. We select suppliers using reasonable criteria, but each supplier is responsible for the service it provides under applicable law.
Links to external websites are provided to facilitate information or complete transactions. Un Tripcito does not control their availability, security or content.
11. Liability
We are responsible for our obligations in accordance with what was offered and applicable law. We are not responsible for losses arising exclusively from false or omitted information supplied by the traveller, failure to follow safety instructions, personal acts, unforeseeable and unavoidable events, or services booked directly outside the reservation.
No exclusion in these terms removes or reduces mandatory consumer rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
12. Intellectual property
The website’s text, photographs, designs, logos, videos, databases and other content belong to Un Tripcito or are used with permission. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes. Reproduction, sale, automated extraction or modification without permission or a legal basis is prohibited.
13. Permitted use of the website
You must not attempt to breach security, introduce malicious software, impersonate others, make fraudulent bookings, extract information in bulk or interfere with the website’s operation.
14. Support and complaints
If you experience an issue, contact us first so we can seek a prompt solution:
- Email: travel@untripcito.com
- WhatsApp: +51 977 844 694
Describe what happened and include your booking reference and supporting documents. Direct support does not prevent you from using Peru’s Complaints Book or contacting Indecopi or another competent authority where applicable.
15. Personal information
Personal information is processed under our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Peru. The parties will seek to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct communication. Consumers retain the right to contact Indecopi, another competent authority or any mechanism available by law.
17. Updates
We may update these terms to reflect legal, operational or service changes. The version applicable to a booking is the version accepted when the contract was made, except for changes required by law or expressly accepted by the parties.
