Leave Paracas for the California Desert, an extensive dune field located a short distance from town. A specialist driver takes you across sandy slopes and formations in a 4×4 buggy, with stops to enjoy the landscape and take photographs.
At selected locations, receive basic instructions and try recreational sandboarding, seated or lying down according to your comfort. The experience lasts approximately two hours, starts and ends in Paracas, and may vary with weather and dune conditions.

Safety
Keep your seat belt fastened while the buggy is moving and always follow the driver. The tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers or guests with heart problems, serious medical conditions, or recent spine, neck or joint injuries. Avoid contact lenses while sandboarding.
Adventure conditions
The route depends on wind, visibility, sand conditions, vehicle maintenance and group availability. The driver may change slopes or stops to maintain safety.
Driving: only the authorized driver operates the buggy.
Sandboarding: slide seated or lying down and skip any descent.
Time: departure slots are arranged in advance; sunset is not guaranteed.
Route: Morón Lagoon, Costa Rica Oasis and the National Reserve are not included.
